Across disciplines, broad themes emerge : copyright, trademark, privacy, moral and neiboring rights, etc. At the same time, each creative undertaking presents issues specific to its field, and as varied and particular as the client’s work itself : an artist’s « droit de suite » or resale rights, the liability of an Internet contributor, a film-maker’s production contract, a musician’s distribution rights, for example. |

We represent writers, producers and distributors in establishing the contractual relationships that govern film-making from concept to distribution : agreements for transfer of rights (directors, scriptwriters, co-writers, film adaptation), French and international joint production, associate production, distribution, performance, adaptation and translation.
In addition, we advise on film project finance (in France and abroad), copyright (including, for example, the « moral rights » of authors and the « neiboring rights » of producers), freedom of expression, and privacy and other « droits de la personnalité » governing exploitation of an individual’s image and identity.
